AADL’s Fifth Ave Press presents the book launch of ZAFTIG, a collection of poetry by Molly Pershin Raynor.  The release several local poets, visual artists, and cooks exploring ZAFTIG’s themes of cultural reclamation, immigration, food, ancestors, and gender in their own work.

From 3-4pm there will be a reception with drinks and small bites, with art and writing by Molly and other Southeast Michigan writers, including Carlina Duan, Kristen DeLeon-Hamilton, Onna Solomon, Ciatta Tucker, Ash Arder and Michelle Yang. From 4-5pm Molly will read an excerpt from ZAFTIG with live music by Josef Deas, and will be joined by guest poets.
